The clients for this project entrusted us with their first home, and having keys handed over to us by any client for their first home is always an honour. Greatly inspired by the Joshua Tree House, the clients had a clear idea of what they wanted in a home. Above all else, they prioritised spaciousness and communal activity around the home.
Vibrant and warm tones were adopted for this house, with cool undertones—one will see mostly wood throughout, with dashes of blue to balance out the mood, and metallic details for a contemporary look.
Spaces in the home were allocated according to the individual lifestyles of the couple—for example the full wall of shelves was set aside to display their abundance of décor and collectibles, and the dining island was an anchor in the home to encourage interaction within the home.
