Sin Ming Ave

Inspired by Japanese architect Tadao Ando’s minimalistic aesthetic and masterful command of the elements like natural light and concrete balanced with vast amounts of space, this 2-storey executive maisonette is a communicative space linking relaxation and enjoyment – a bachelor pad where a coveted invitation to party promises a hedonistic respite from the daily hustle and bustle.

Homeowner Mark Wong loves to entertain. We kept the formal dining within the kitchen, and included additional casual seating close by, flowing into the rear balcony which serves as an outdoor chill area.

The guest bedroom on the upper floor overlooks the balcony and, during the day, provides a view of serenity from the vast greenery in the natural surrounds. Across from this bedroom is the master suite. This well-spaced suite was designed for seamless transition from work to rest, decked in warm tones and lighting, with a writing desk on one far end and a luxurious bed on the other.
